Where to begin
If you are considering counselling, you may already be feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or uncertain about what support might help. Reaching out can feel like a significant step, and doing so already shows care for yourself and your wellbeing.
About me and my practice
How I can help
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life. Counselling is your time a place to slow things down, feel heard, and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety (general and health-related), low mood, stress, confidence and self-esteem issues, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I have particular experience supporting carers and adults navigating complex responsibilities, identity changes, or late-identified ADHD.
Experience
I have over 20 years experience working within mental health services, including NHS settings, alongside my private counselling practice. This includes working with adults experiencing significant distress, risk, and safeguarding concerns. I am comfortable holding difficult conversations and supporting people through uncertainty without judgement or pressure.
Alongside my counselling work, I continue to work in an NHS mental health role, which helps keep my practice grounded, current, and ethically robust.
